EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST (ESSA)
I am a highly qualified and experienced Clinical Exercise Physiologist, specializing in Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation / Return to Performance. I have worked with various clients from elite professional athletes in various sporting fields, to private clients. Having experience developing customized and effective rehabilitation solutions to address individual situations.
I recently completed an assignment with former Wallabies coach Robbie Deans, who engaged my services as a consultant to the Panasonic Wild Knights Rugby Union Team in Japan. Based on my review of their physical preparation, I introduced pre-rehabilitation protocols into their training regime. The team was successful in their campaign for the Japanese Top League Championship title, with all team members remaining injury free.
I also have been employed as a sessional lecturer and tutor for the Sport and Exercise Science degree course at Southern Cross University.

Experience in development of exercise programs for the inactive and de-conditioned population - Type 2 Diabetes, CVD, and Obesity.
Ability to write progress notes on patients.
Reviewing physical preparation of individuals to provide an accurate diagnosis of their condition and accordingly customize solutions, which address the cause, not just the symptoms of their ailment.
Providing health education to clients.
While assisting the Riverside Gym staff in maintaining a high standard of technical instruction to the general public.
I am currently offering my services out of Riverside 24/7 Fitness, Ballina and am available to complete Medicare Care Plans, Work Cover and DVA.
